If in case you still think Chinese vendors produces low-end and cheap smartphones, it’s time for you to change your perceptions. The smartphones coming out of China have been taking on the big players for a ride lately. Joining today, LeTv Le 1s sets a new benchmark in terms of offering high-end or a flagship worth hardware at an affordable price!

LeTv joined the smartphone bandwagon this year with some great offerings like Le 1, Le 1 pro and Le Max. These were the first among smartphones to feature USB Type-C port and the bezel-less design. The company wants to carry the same expectations that its previous devices had set with LeTv Le 1s.

The Le 1s features The Le 1s features a bezel-less design and all-metal body design. As per the its predecessors, this device also houses a USB Type-C port. The Le 1s introduces the world’s first mirror fingerprint sensor “Le Touch” that can double as a camera shutter button.

Without much to say, Le 1s offers a top notch specifications. It runs on an EUI 5.5 operating system, providing seamless access to Letv’s world-class ecosystem and content services.

The price of LeTv Le 1s is 1099 RMB (INR 11250 or USD 170 approx.). Yes, there is no typo in what you just read. Though when compared to LeTv Le 1, Le 1s specifications doesn’t change much. One thing that LeTv has got right is in terms of pricing. With such cost, Le 1s seems to be a best device to look out for.

The device will be sold via LeMall.com and JD.com in China on Nov 3. It is still not clear whether the device will be made available to Indian consumers via company’s own LeMall website.

The Le 1s is not only the device that surprised the attendees today in China. The company has unveiled a huge and a larger screen TV as well. At the event, LeTv also launched the world’s first 120-inch 3D 4K HDTV, the uMax Super TV.

The uMax TV features 4K smart TV chip Mstar 6A928, quad core 1.4GHz and quad core Mali T760 top-level flagship GPU, supports 60-frame H.265/HEVC format 4K video hardware decoding, with built-in 3GB RAM and 32GB new standard 16nm technique eMMC5.0 high-speed flash memory.

The big TV costs big bucks as well. LeTv uMax Super TV is priced at 499,900 RMB (USD 78,500 approx.).

While one side we are seeing costly flagship devices, devices like LeTv Le 1s is going to give tough competition in affordable smartphone segment. Hope the device reaches Indian shores as well!
